WAVE OVERVIEW
The expert plus features the same structure as the expert wave with a couple enhancements. The wave will break from one end of the lagoon to the other like a pointbreak. The face of the wave will be steeper and taller than the expert setting.
WAVE CHARACTERISTICS
The size of the wave will be overhead on an average adult. The steeper wave face provides a much longer lip line allowing for very aggressive off the lip maneuvers throughout the entire ride. Carves are possible as well but require a fine touch due to the steep pocket. The wave also features an end closeout section which is large and powerful. Surfers can perform any variety of maneuver on the end section but take care to keep their feet solid on the re-entry as this section has power.
WAVE COMPLETION & FLOW
The wave ends following the end section. If a floater is performed over the end section kicking out ASAP is recommended. Surfers can either walk around the perimeter of the lagoon or paddle back along the caisson wall to get back to the waiting zone.
